code4node hosts a growing collection of short node.js code examples (or 'snippets'), targeted at both new node developers and those more experienced developers who learn most effectively by example.

Each snippet has an accompanying article where a complete working solution is presented, which can be followed step by step or copied and pasted as required. Code examples are intentionally brief and digestible.

It is assumed the reader has a working node.js environment with the ability to install modules using npm.

Articles make reference to the terminal or the command line, which specifically means a Linux shell such as Bash.
